Activated Turmeric, also known as Haridra or Haldi, is a powerful herb from the ginger family and holds a place of honor in Ayurvedic medicine. Known for its main healing component, curcumin, turmeric has warm, bitter, pungent, and astringent qualities and is used as a carminative, vulnerary, antiseptic, and antibacterial agent. This potent herb supports skin health, diabetes management, arthritis, osteoporosis, asthma, and hay fever. With the addition of black pepper to increase absorption and bioavailability, this formulation enhances liver processing, amplifying turmeric’s anti-inflammatory and potential anti-cancer effects. Activated Turmeric reduces Kapha and Vatha doshas while increasing Pitta.

The recommended use is 2-3 drops on the back of the left hand, dissolved in water, or under the tongue.
